Campus Overview
Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (IoE), Delhi NCR — located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh — is the flagship campus of Shiv Nadar University. Established in 2011, it is one of India's premier research-intensive universities, recognised as an Institution of Eminence by the Government of India.
The campus is home to over 5,000 students across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes, with faculties spanning Engineering, Natural Sciences, Management & Entrepreneurship, Humanities & Social Sciences, and the Arts.

Fairtrade Policy
The campus Fairtrade Policy is currently being drafted. Key commitments will include:
- Procurement: Source at least 5 product categories from Fairtrade-certified suppliers within 18 months
- Dining: Introduce Fairtrade tea, coffee, and sugar across all campus dining facilities
- Awareness: Conduct two Fairtrade awareness events per semester
- Curriculum: Include Fairtrade case studies in at least 3 courses per semester
- Research: Commission at least one research project per year on Fairtrade topics

2nd Fairtrade India Conference — September 2025
The Delhi NCR campus hosted the 2nd Fairtrade India Conference in September 2025, bringing together:
- Participating schools and universities from across India
- Fairtrade India representatives
- HCL Foundation partners
- Student innovators and project leaders
The conference featured student presentations, best practice sharing, and the launch of the national Fairtrade schools network.
Service Learning Projects
Several undergraduate courses now include Fairtrade service-learning components:
- BUS 301: Sustainable Business — Students audit local supply chains for fair trade compliance
- SOC 202: Development Studies — Field work with cooperatives and artisan producers
- ENV 401: Environmental Management — Campus sustainability assessment
